Thomas Claffey Obituary

Thomas James Claffey, 86, of Fountain, formerly of Hamlin Twp., passed
away on Friday, January 12, 2024.

Thomas was born on April 2, 1937, the son of Louis and Mae (Knowblock)
Claffey. He attended Clay High School, in South Bend, Indiana, graduating
in 1955.

Thomas joined the United States Navy and was Honorably
discharged.

On March 22, 2001, he married Ruth (Caldwell) Claffey.
Thomas was a Jack of all trades; a pilot, restaurant owner, Union bridge
builder, Navy Serviceman, General Contractor- running his own business,
TCB Builders, loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great
grandfather, and uncle.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Ruth Claffey; sister, Connie (Joe) Hipskin;
daughters, Kim Dallum, Kristina (Michael) Walles, Kelli Brown, and Nicole
(Ben) Norton; stepchildren, Eric (Chaka) Mikolayczyk, Christina (Michael)
Gannon, Tara Bowers, Guy Bowers, Brandy Mercer; and numerous
grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mae Claffey;
brother, Robert Claffey; and sister, Marilyn Claffey, all of South Bend,
Indiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at
Crossroads Church (1463 E. US 10, Scottville), beginning at 11am.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Arrangements were entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington,
