Hollis Anderson-Haldi Obituary
Hollis "Holly" J. Anderson-Haldi, 74, of Wallace, ID, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025 at Silverton of Cascadia Health and Rehabilitation in Silverton, ID. Holly was born on January 19, 1951 in Butte, MT, the daughter of the late William and Irene (Pipel) Anderson.
Holly attended grade school in Osburn and then moved to Utah, for her middle and high school years.
She went on to attend colleges in Utah, Whitworth in Spokane, and obtained her law degree from Gonzaga University. There was never a more spirited Zag's fan than Holly.
She served her community for so many years, by giving council, both in and out of the courtroom. Her love for Wallace showed in so many ways. Whether it was her tireless efforts in the total renovation of the community pool, years of volunteering in so many areas, or just making everyone she met, feel welcomed and included in town. She was always a light and brought so much joy to everyone she met along the way.
Holly enjoyed golf, reading, gardening, camping, and dancing. She was a member of the P.E.O. Chapter X, as well as the Wallace Elks Club.
In addition to her parents, Holly is preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Anderson.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Wanye "Sano" Haldi of Wallace, ID; five children, Kyle (Allyson) Haldi of Fallbrook, CA, Jeff (Lexi) Haldi of Seattle, WA, and Scott Haldi ; seven grandchildren, Kendall, Hayden, Rayna, Alex, Nolan, Mackenzie and Reagan, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, 2:00 PM in the clubhouse of Shoshone Golf Club, Kellogg. Please bring a dish and a story to share. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Shoshone Golf Club in memory of Hollis Anderson-Haldi.
