Stuart Peterson Obituary
Stuart W. Peterson, 83, passed away on April 11, 2023, in Vancouver, Washington. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annette, son Erik (Christy), grandchildren Katie and Emma, and brother Rodger (Connie).
Stuart graduated from Lincoln High School and Pacific Lutheran University, both in Tacoma, Washington; and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he received his Master's Degree in Theology. Stuart pastored churches in Ridgeland, Wisconsin; Tacoma, Seattle and Eatonville, Washington; and Kellogg, Idaho.
Stuart was dear to many and will be deeply missed. May God bless his memory.

I'll always remember that Stuart was both highly intelligent and deeply devoted to God and His calling on Stuart and Annette's lives. I know many people who think we cannot be both, and I always appreciated him for that, and for his humor, kindness, wisdom, and willingness to let the people of God be uncomfortable when it was called for. His ministry definitely affected my spiritual growth and my understanding of the kingdom of God.

Today we received news that our dear, precious, faithful friend and mentor, Stuart W. Peterson, died (April 11, 2023). Stu was one of those very, very rare men who had only the Lord´s interests at heart and mind, in all his relationships, in all His ministry to the people of God. The man was, and his faithful bride, Annette, still is, "without guile."
The Lord´s deposit in Stu and Annette has been and continues to be "gold" to us . . . so, so precious. This post and this photo are in their honor. The windmill depicts the "well water" sporadically found in the wide, open, high desert expanses of Montana; approximating or symbolizing the crystal clear, very welcome word the Lord brought to our hearts through Stu for almost 50 years. Deep grief, but profound gratitude; tears of both.
