SPRINGHILL, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Bobye Herrington, age 74, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Springhill United Methodist Church with Rev. Ronald Morgan officiating. Eulogies will be offered by Judy Tillis and Foster Campbell. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary, Springhill, LA.

Mrs. Herrington, a lifelong resident of this area died, Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, a graduate of Springhill High School, class of 1949 and was an avid bridge player and member of the Springhill Spade Club. She will be remembered as a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Johnny Herrington; daughter, Kristi Gayle Emanuel and husband, Milton, of Wells, TX; sons, John D. "Donnie" Herrington and wife, Cody, of Emerson, AR; Ricky Lane Herrington and wife, Sheri of Springhill, LA; Sister, Joretta Ingram of Lafayette, LA; brother, Jimmy Hobgood and wife, Ann of Tylertown, MS; grandchildren, Tres Herrington and wife, Amanda;, Jennifer O'Glee and husband, Kyle; Cloud Herrington, Madison Herrington, Lyle Emanuel and Morgan Emanuel; great-grandchildren, Chandler, McKenzie, Keaton, Issah, Ian, Bayle, Gracy and Katy and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Huddleston, Robert Hilburn, Denny McMullen, Rus Green, Raymond Robertson, Ronnie Hennigan, Ed Bankhead, Anthony Manuel, Ricky Darst, George Dement, Bill Bailey, Don Chambless and Junior Turner.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday. Bailey Mortuary
