Hamp and family - Cindy was such an inspiration to me at NCHS; I wanted to be smart and sweet, just like her. I know these days will be hard for you all, but I'm saying prayers that God will Bless you with many, many happy memories of happier days. I've thought of you guys often, and hoped you were living a happy life together.

Hi Hamp -
Wow it's been so long. I just found out about Cindy on Facebook. Not sure what was wrong but my prayers go out to you and your family. I remember how crazy you two were about each other. I always had a high admiration for Cindy...so prim and proper and smart. I pray for God's peace for you that passeth all understanding.

I am so sorry to hear about Cindy, it truly breaks my heart. I went to high school with Cindy and we had biology together, she loved that class and I did to as long as I didn't have to cut into something. She was so smart she truly amazed me. Hamp I know this has been rough on you and your family you all are in my prayers.
Sincerely
Fay Cavender Blair

Hamp, Brett, and Kate,
My heart and prayers go out to all of you during this time. Some of my happiest childhood memories are the times that I spent with all of you. When I think of Cindy, I always think about how sweet she was to me. Every October, I have my students write about their memories of Halloween and I always share the story of the year Mom and Cindy dressed Brett and I up as Kermit and Miss Piggy. I also think about all the days I spent at your house riding in Brett's jeep, watching E.T., and just having fun. Those were such happy times that I will carry with me forever. Please know that I will be telling my son, Austin, about all of our precious times together and about how special Cindy and all of you are to me.
Love,
Arden

Sending you thoughts and prayers. I did not know Cynthia or her siblings, but I was raised at Rodessa and my Daddy had a grocery store in town and Robert had a grocery store at North Rodessa. Mrs. Frances drove a Cadillac Convertible and was so beautiful. Knew most of the Sextons in Rodessa and Rodessa residents were all like one big family. Sincerely, Clare Caldwell Hood
