Della Bryan Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Graveside services for Della Mable Simmons Bryan will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2007. Officiating will be Rev. Nolan Logan. Interment will be in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Rose-Neath Southside.
Mrs. Bryan was born March 1, 1923 in Shreveport to David and Dessie Simmons. She went to be with her Lord, June 25, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She and her husband, Johnny, were co-owners of Bryan's Jewelers for over 40 years. Mrs. Bryan was a loving and devoted wife and mother, a wonderful cook and homemaker. Happiness for her was in doing for others. She loved to sing and play the organ and is now singing praises to her precious Lord Jesus. She will be greatly missed.
Della is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John W. Bryan, son, Michael Bryan, daughter-in-law, Dorothy Bryan, four sisters and one brother.
Left to cherish her memories is her son, Pat Bryan and wife Kay, of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Jon Dell Moore and husband John Earl, of Mooringsport, LA; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons. " We Love You The Most, Mom".

Mam-maw Bryan was a very special and loving Christian lady. This last mothers day she sang beautiful harmony with Christina (her great-grand daughter) and Jon Dell (her daughter) and Tina (her grand daughter). Even up to her final days, she always kept a Christian song in her heart and enjoyed sharing her beautiful voice and the Lord with others. We will miss you until we see you again. Love your family... Tina, David, Aaron, Christina and Matthew.
