The Final Salute
Brothers in Arms, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged Hand Salutes as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This Hand Salute is the last that we shall render to Frank Giraud our Brother in Arms, a VFW, DAV and PVA Comrade. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Frank. And to Frank it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the WW_II, the Korean and the Vietnam War while serving in the U.S. Army and for his many years of dedicated service to the VFW, the DAV and to the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Frank, you were a wonderful comrade and a strong supporter of the many veteran organizations of which you were a member. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, the members of VFW Post 2238 and of DAV Chapter 30, we extend our sympathies and our condolences to Frank's family and loved ones.

Dear Carol Ann, Genny, Valdrie and families, We are so very sorry for the loss of your beloved father. To Marcia, JD, Aly and children, all our love. We pray for peace and healing for you all, and that all the joyful memories of him will soon overcome the sorrow you are all feeling at this sad time.
