Sister Hazel Lee Moore

COUSHATTA, LA- Services celebrating the life of Sister Hazel Moore, will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 19, 2008 at New St. Mary B.C. Coushatta, LA with Pastor Jebby Demery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday September 19, 2008 at the Church. Sister Hazel was born August 17, 1918 in Natchitoches Parish. She passed away Saturday September 13, 2008. Sister Hazel was a life-long resident of Red River Parish where she was a loving wife, caring mother and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, one sister, one brother, husband, Sidney Moore, Sr., three sons, Sidney Moore, Jr., Lemar Moore, and Willie Moore and one great-grandson Sidney Aaron Mack.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tommie Sue Hamilton (Bobby) of Coushatta, LA and Betty Jean Lewis (Johnnie) of Shreveport, LA, one brother Lewis Carroll, Jr (Ollie) and sister Lucy Byrd both of Coushatta, LA; sisters; Beatta Turner of Seattle, WA, Lou Audrey Head of Shreveport, LA. Also left to cherish her memories are, three daughter-in-laws, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Shreveport/Bossier and Dr. Robert C. Hernandez for all the care they gave her. Miller Pioneer

Betty Tommie and family
I pray that god will take care of you in this difficult time I love you all . Betty you and Tommie are my dear friends from Springville High School I was in the class of 1970. God will take care of you he did not bring you this for to leave you . Hold on Hold on every thing will be alright joy will come in the morning . Dry those tears and don't cry no more trouble trouble soon will be over I know joy , joy will come in the morning.
