SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Mr. John L. Williams, Jr., 65, will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Samaritan Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Carver Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 12 noon to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Good Samaritan.
Mr. Williams was born September 6, 1943. He passed away February 24, 2009. Good Samaritan Funeral Home

The Williams Family,
I was very shocked to hear that John L. had gone home. The last time I saw Him was at his Mothers House and we were talking about school days at Notre Dame . He always has something comical to say. I know you'll will truly miss him. May God Bless The Family.

Nikki,
Your parents are Uncle John and Aunt Ronnie to me . I was so shocked to hear the news. All of us have know each other for over three decades, so this is not just easy news for me to swallow. I am glad to have known your father, he treated me like family over the years . All of you are in my thoughts and prayers .
I know he was glad to have had you and Taylor live close to him recently . I know he helped shape the lives of you and your siblings as well as Taylor . When you are stronger let's share stories. I will call you again soon. We are checking on Jennifer also.
