Shreveport - Joseph Wesley Johnson, 60, of Shreveport, Louisiana went to his Heavenly Home on June 6, 2021.
Joe was born on October 25, 1960 in Shreveport. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1979. His life-long career was driving 18-wheelers until he became disabled.
He is preceded in death by his father; Charles A. Johnson and his mother, Katherine Goss Johnson. He is survived by his siblings, Danny Daugherty of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Jean Durr and husband, Bill of Keithville, Louisiana, Jimmy and Terry Johnson of Shreveport, Louisiana, Chuck Johnson and wife, Julie of Shreveport, Louisiana, Kathy Dziadosz of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Leah Kaye Gibson of Olympia, Washington. He has numerous other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana. A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Rose-Neath Southside. Officiating the service will be Pastor Chris Willcutt of Grawood Baptist Church.
