Lisa Diane Attaway

SHREVEPORT, LA- Ceremonies for Lisa Diane Attaway will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008, 12:00 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel Shreveport, LA with Rev. Shirley Kelley officiating under the direction of Heritage Funerals, Shreveport, LA.

Visitation will begin Saturday, July 5, 2008, 10:00 a.m. until time of service at Heritage Funerals.

Ms. Lisa Attaway, 47, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from a sudden illness. Lisa was a resident of the Shreveport area all of her life where she was affiliated with the Shreveport Church of Hope for some time now. She loved working with flowers, being outside, gathering with her friends and family, and loved kids unconditionally. Lisa will be remembered most for her nurturing manor upon all things alike, and for being the great conversationalist that we all knew her as.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Curtis Attaway.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Kathryn Ann Attaway; one sister, Sheila Harris and husband, Mike of Mooringsport, La; two brothers, Larry Floyd Attaway of Mooringsport, La and Michael Lynn Attaway and wife, Nelda of Mooringsport, La; special friend (sister), Star; her special angel, Bairy Wilson and husband, Joshua of Shreveport, La; her more than generous friend, Clinsey Adams; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Clinsey Adams for his immediate response to Lisa in her times of need. Heritage Funerals

To Lisa's family- I am saddened by the passing of Lisa. It has been many years since I have seen her, but I loved her and she was one of the funniest people I knew, every time I think of her I smile, she seemed to have that effect on people. God bless you and I pray the Lord's peace for you during this time.

To all of Lisa's family,
We extend our deepest sympathy. Lisa was our friend and neighbor on Highland Avenue for over ten years. We were blessed to see her when we were last there in June. God bless and comfort you all.

Sheila, Larry, Mike and family. I was so saddened to hear about the loss of Lisa. She was so full of life and always had a smile on her face. I enjoyed getting to know the family over the years when Mrs. Attaway lived accross me in the apartments. Lisa will be sadly missed. My prayers are with you and the family right now. God Bless each of you.
