Louella Johnson Obituary

Louella Johnson

Louella Johnson entered into eternal life with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2015.

Louella was born near Arcadia, LA on August 19, 1929. She graduated from Arcadia High and the Shreveport Charity School of Nursing as an RN. She enjoyed her nursing career at P&S and Willis-Knighton hospitals. She was a member of Blanchard Baptist Church.

Louella was predeceased by her loving husband Johnie Johnson in 2008. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Dillahunty and husband Les of Benton, son Johnie Johsnon of Shreveport , three grandchildren; Coan Dillahunty and wife Jennifer of Austin, TX , Sarah Johnson, Garrett Johnson and wife Brandy of Shreveport and great-granddaughter Sadie. Her sister, Peggy Harrison and brother John Robert King mourn her death.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. Friends and family will gather for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service.

Special thanks to the Oaks of Louisiana and Home instead caregivers, especially Sarah Deramee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Louella's life may be made to the Building Fund of First Baptist Church Blanchard, 201 Attaway St., Blanchard, LA 71009.

Was so sorry to recieve Sarah,s message about our Sister Lou and have many fond rememerances of our years service to the residences of Heritage Manor Nursing facilities. enjoyed visting with her as long as I could get around. Sarah, thank you for your calls over the past few years.
