Ronald Turner Obituary
A retired Shreveport Police Officer, passed away May 16, 2014, in Fort Worth, Texas following a lengthy illness. Ronnie was born October 7, 1944 in Shreveport, LA. to James M. Turner and Catherine Mayes Turner.
He was preceded in death by his mother and Randy Fred Turner brother.
He is survived by his father, brother Elton Ricky Turner; sons, Alan Scott Turner of Fort Worth, TX and Michael Wayne Turner of Pensacola, Florida; daughter, Kathleen Williams of Shreveport, LA; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Barbara Turner.

I feel blessed to have had the privlage of knowing Ron. His knowledge of anything and everything was beyond comprehension. He would do and say things without cracking as much of a smile that would make me laugh till it hurt. He will be missed by so many, rest in peace Ron.
To the Turner Family; My heart goes out to each of you in this time of great loss. Please know I'm keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love you guys.

Dad,
I love you with all my heart and will miss you more than words can say. You were the person I always turned to when I needed strength. You were my resource for knowledge before we had this thing called the internet. I don't believe there was ever a subject that you didn't know something about. My heart is broken but I will always have my memories of you. Thank you for being my father. I am truly blessed and I hope I have made you proud. With love.
