Ruben Mathews Obituary
HUNTSVILLE, TX - Graveside services for Ruben Durham "Boob" Mathews, 88, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Vivian Cemetery, Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Richard Beeman.
Ruben, a resident of Huntsville, TX and former resident of Vivian, LA, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2006 in Tyler, TX. He was born December 9, 1917 in Oil City, LA and had been a lifelong resident of Caddo Parish.
Survivors are his wife of sixty-six years, Sybil Langston Mathews; son, Richard Mathews and wife, Sherry; daughter, Leah Owen and husband, Art; sister, Mildred Guess; five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, Tyler, TX or Country Campus Baptist Church of Huntsville, TX. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
