Ruby Gant Obituary
SHREVEPORT, LA - Homegoing celebration for Sister Ruby Lee Gant will be held at 11 a.m. Sat. Feb. 24, 2007 at Winnfield Funeral Home. Family hour willbe Fri. Feb. 23, 2007, 6-7 p.m. She departed this life Feb. 15, 2007 at Promise Specialty Rehab Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memories 4 children: Tonya Gant, Rodney Gant (Pattie), Pam Gant Jackson (LeeWard), Vicki Gant Gardner (Leslie, Sr); 2 sisters: Linda Thomas Coleman (Nathaniel), Oralyn Jones; 4 grandchildren: Antoinita Brunston (Mark Anthony), Jermichael Gant (Braunda), Leslie (L.J.) Gardner, Jr and Enia Gardner; 1 great-granddaughter: Constance Amelia Brunston.
She retired from General Motors and was one of the original organizers of the 1956 50th Class Reunion of Booker T. Washington High School.
