Shreveport, LA - Services for Samuel J. Johns, 34, will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Refreshing Point Ministries, Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Burns Cemetery in Haughton, LA. Open visitation will be Friday at Precious Memories Mortuary, Shreveport.
Survivors include his parents, one daughter Si'Zhanae, 2 sisters, Melanie and Krystal, 1 brother, Charlie, his loving companion, Ebony, relatives and friends.

hey dad .. I miss you so much honestly update I´m officially on Cheer. I´m a freshman in highschool now. I do track it´s actually my get away i just release all my pain when im at my meets . I try hardest to do the best I can. I really just wish I could give you one more hug. Well um im just stopping by to give you an update on my life now ... I love you talk to you later

Sam...you would be SO VERY PROUD of your baby, Si'Zhanae!! She's growing into such a beautiful young lady. Si is 12 now and as tall as me! She is a beautiful mixture of you and Ebony...but Most Definitely her Daddy's Daughter...mischievous and all! She is Still " Daddy's Dunk Dunk"!! I'm so glad she's of age now where she can personally express her feelings... She LOVES her Daddy and will continue to make you proud...Mama

Well son...getting close to that time of year when the loss of you seems refreshed. It will be 5 years...but feels like 5 minutes. I've come to the conclusion that will Never change...God just makes it tolerable. If you were here, we'd be celebrating your 39th birthday next month. We're all holding it down as best we can and by The Grace of God. Loving you and Missing you Always...Mama
