Great-grandmother, started her life in 1916 in the MidWest, 105 Camille Marie Petosa, 105, of Staten Island, NY, passed away on September 22, 2021 in her home at 27 Delaware Avenue. Camille was born in Kinney, Minnesota to John and Philomena Di Iorio on January 7, 1916. She worked as a clerk/typist for the DOD at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. during World War II. Camille enjoyed raising four children, cooking Sunday sauce, making homemade pasta, crocheting, making ceramics and gardening. She is survived by her children, Carmela Parvis (Daniel), Mario Jr (Toni-Donna), Donald (Sue), six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and over twenty five nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Mario, her daughter Phyllis and six siblings. Visitation will be at the Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, N Y (718) 351 1800 on Monday, September 27, 2021, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The website has more details.
