Carita Klindtworth Sanford

Registered nurse, formerly of Staten Island, grandmother Carita Klindtworth Sanford of Milford, PA, and formerly of Staten Island, NY, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Seaview Hospital, and South Beach Psychiatric. She spent many years caring for a small farm and her family in the Pocono Mountains. She enjoyed taking the scenic route, blasting her music and dancing through all her days. The daughter of the late Kenneth F. and Carita (Yates) Klindtworth, she was born September 17, 1958, in Denver, CO. Carita leaves behind her children, Kenneth, Carita E., Kathryn, Bernard Jr. and her grandchildren, Kenneth Gabriel, Theodore Blaise, and Maximo Andres, beloved children-in-law Carolina and Mitchell as well as a large extended family. Cremation and memorial services are private at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Pike County Humane Society.
