Catherine 'Kay' Jezycki Beloved wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother Catherine (Kay)Jezycki ,85, of West Brighton passed away peacefully on August 8, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Jezycki (2012); loving mother of the late Peggy Jezycki-Alario(9/11/01), Stephen (Carolann), Michael (Patricia); beloved grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Stephen Jezycki, James and Dante Alario; cherished great-grandmother of Matthew, Cecilia and Joseph Jezycki. She was preceded in death by her 5 brothers; Marco, William, Joseph, Frank and John Plocic. Catherine is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs Jezycki was born in Mariners Harbor, the youngest of six siblings and the only girl, she was affectionately known to them as "baby". A graduate of Port Richmond HS, she worked as a secretary in Manhattan for several years before devoting her time to raising her family. She married her husband Stephen in 1958 and settled in Rosebank where they lived for 55 years. She was a parishioner and active member of St. Joseph Church. In recent years she enjoyed participating and spending time at Arrochar Friendship Club at Holy Rosary Parish Center. Catherine will be remembered for her loyalty and love for her family and friends.
