Clifford J. Blake Beloved by his family; 'he touched everyone's lives' Clifford J. Blake, 42, passed away on June 5, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health Care Center in Stuart, Florida. Born and raised in the Rosebank section of Staten Island, "Cliff" graduated from the Francis School in Great Kills. He was a member of Union Local JATC 137 Sign Hangers and Sheet Metal Workers Union and recently moved to Florida, working for Stone Mountain Scaffolding Co. in Ft. Pierce. Cliff was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan. He enjoyed the beach, swimming, hiking, fishing and camping. "Cliff touched everyone's lives," Said his mother, Carol. "He was loyal, non-judgmental and had a great sense-of-humor. He loved spending time with his family, especially his cousins." Cliff was the beloved son of Carol Blake (nee Trabuscio) and the late John Blake. He was the cherished step-son of Larry Della Corte and dear step-brother of Keith Della Corte. He is also survived by his closest friend who was like a brother to him, Mr. Al Smith and his many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A. Azzara Funeral Home, 183 Sand Lane, SI, NY 10305 has been entrusted with Cliff's funeral arrangements which include visiting on Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass St. Joseph's Church in Rosebank on Friday 10:30am. Arrangements also include a private cremation. Saddened by Cliffs passing. We shared many a laughs in our childhood at St. Joseph’s and later on at the basketball courts (PS13 & Kaltamyer). Prayers to the family during this difficult time.
