Daniel Borriello, 72
Electrician and home builder who truly loved his family
Daniel Borriello, 72, passed away at Staten Island University Hospital North on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, Dan moved to the Dongan Hills Colony section of Staten Island in 1985.
After graduating high school, he began working as a Union electrician with Local 3, then started his own electrical contracting company, Boriello Electric. Dan also was a fine home builder on Staten Island. A longtime parishioner of St. Ann's Church, Dan was a quiet man who offered sage advice to family and friends. "He was patient, dedicated and respected by all," said his wife, Nikki. " Dan truly loved his family and was an inspiration to many."
Daniel Borriello was the beloved husband of 49 years to Nikki (nee Talarico). He was also the special uncle of Lauren Talarico and her fiance, Sal Galati; Anthony Chiellino and his wife Dina; Kate; Luke and Jack Chiellino. Dan was also 1 of 7 children, the beloved brother of Lucy, Rosemarie, Susan, Emil, Chris and the late Steve, and dearest brother-in-law of Rose Parker and Andy Talarico.
A. Azzara Funeral Home, 183 Sand Lane, S.I., N.Y. 10305 has been honored with the funeral arrangements for Mr. Borriello which include visiting on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment Moravian Cemetery.
