Beloved wife and mother Debra A. Mahoney (ne Laub), 59, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021 after a brief illness. A life-long Staten Islander, Debbie was born on March 16, 1962 to Carol and the late Thomas Laub and grew up in Bulls Head. A graduate of Moore Catholic High School, Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Bob, and they were married for 36 years. Together they raised two adoring sons, Bobby and Sean. She was a long time employee of The College of Staten Island, most recently Administrative Assistant to the President. Debbie loved nothing more than spending time with her extended family and friends, keeping her toes in the sand, in her happy place, Long Beach Island. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob, sons Bobby and Sean (fiance Megan), her mother, Carol Laub, two brothers Thomas (Deirdre) and Kevin (Joanne), many brothers and sisters-in-law and adoring nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. Church 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
