Elliott Jay Charrow

Elliott Jay Charrow, age 63, passed away on 9/16/2022 at Pine Run Health Center, Doylestown, PA. He was a long-time resident of New York City, NY. Elliott was born on April 30, 1959 in Brooklyn NY, to parents, Philip Charrow and Dorothy Simon. He moved to Staten Island in 1968 with his family where he graduated from Tottenville High School in 1977. He later moved to Howard Beach, NY until he settled in New Hope, PA in 2018. He continued his education, graduating from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, NY with a Bachelors in Health Sciences; from Bayley Seton Hospital with a degree in Physician's Assistant Studies, Staten Island, NY; and from Arizona School of Health Sciences with a Masters in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies, Phoenix AZ. Elliott went on to establish a career as a Physicians Assistant, working for the FDNY Bronx, NY, The New York Times, College Point, NY and Westchester County Hospital, Westchester, NY. Elliott was an Eagle Scout, a member of the FDNY Ner Tamid and was well known as a member of Congregation B'Nai Israel, Staten Island serving as President of their United Synagogue Youth chapter as a teen. He was also a member of Voluntary Heart Resuscitation Unit on Staten Island. Elliott was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Dorothy. Elliott is survived by his brother Daniel/(Steven). A graveside service and interment were held on September 19, 2022, at Roosevelt Memorial Park Trevose, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
