August 5, 1932 – February 3, 2022 Francesco Plumari age 89, passed away peacefully on Feb. 3, 2022. He was born in Troina Provincia Enna, Catania Sicily on August 5 1932, the son of the late Luigi and Francesca. He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years Agata, his son Sebastian and his brother Joseph. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, brother and uncle and was loved by all. Left to cherish his memory are his 4 nieces and 4 nephews, and 22 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was a plasterer who retired 25 years ago from NYCHA. He and his beloved wife Agata loved to travel to Europe and always made it back to Sicily. He was passionate about his vegetable garden, fig tree and grape vines. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. He reveled in watching his Serie A Soccer. Visitation will be Sunday 4-9 pm and Monday 4-9pm at Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island, NY 10306. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday February 8, at 9:30 am at Holy Rosary 80 Jerome Ave Staten Island NY 10305.
