Joan DeDomenico

Joan DeDomenico, 81 of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. Born in Bensonhurst Brooklyn, NY, Joan resided in Staten Island, NY and Little Egg Harbor, NJ before moving to Manahawkin 6 years ago. Joan worked as a research analyst for Merrill Lynch in NYC and was a communicant of St. Finbar Church in Bensonhurst Brooklyn. She was a member of the Red Hats Women's Club in Sunrise Bay and president of the Great Kills Babe Ruth Women's Auxiliary. She was well known for her Christmas Eve rice balls, was an amazing homemaker and enjoyed cooking. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Edward DeDomenico, sons Gregg DeDomenico and wife Christine of Brick, NJ and Chris DeDomenico and family of Howell, NJ, brother John Ragusa of Selden, Long Island, grandchildren Gregg and fiance Jennifer and Jessica and boyfriend Rick and nephew Jeffrey Ragusa. Cremation will be private and a burial of ashes will take place at a later date at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
