She was born Lois Windsor in Sunnyside at 1356 Clove Road to Catherine and Harry Windsor. She was the eldest of four siblings who also were born at the Clove Road home: the late Harold Windsor of Jesup, Ga., Patricia Davenport of Edgewater, Fla., and Joanne Caraci of Jesup, Ga.

Lois began working in Manhattan and later began a lengthy career at St. Vincent's Medical Center in the billing department, data processing, and the St. Vincent's School of Nursing, where she retired in 1998.
Lois's interests included singing and line dancing, and traveling to Disney World when grandchildren were young, with family and friends to Bermuda, Italy, Rome, Spain, Florence and Monte Carlo. She celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary in Niagara Falls,
She enjoyed traveling with Chris and his family to the Jersey Shore, Wildwood, Cape May, the Caribbean, and especially Florida. She also enjoyed family time at Monmouth Race track. Lois enjoyed being with her sons and their families, especially her grandchildren.
Lois and her husband, along with many others, were major participants in the 1960's in the creation of the Snug Harbor Little League that continued into the 1980's.
A gentle woman of deep religious faith and pro-life, Lois attended Mass at St. Adalbert's, Elm Park. She was a dedicated wife, loving daughter, loyal friend, and loving mother, kind caring and generous. She will be sorely missed and eternally loved!
May she rest in Peace!
