Louis A. Coronato Jr.

Husband, father and grandfather; Staten Island native, 80 Louis A. Coronato Jr., 80, of Riegelsville, PA, died Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at St. Lukes Hospital - Upper Bucks. He was the husband of Barbara E. (Herold) Coronato. Louis was born in Staten Island on Jan. 31, 1943, to the late Louis A. Sr. & Mary (Tait) Coronato. He grew up in Dongan Hills and Oakwood, Staten Island, NY. Lou went to school at St. Dorothy's, St. Patrick's, St. Peter's and Manhattan College. He worked as an engineer for 9 yrs at FPE, Fiibre Industries and JP Stevens as a project engineer and Supervisor of Engineering. In 1974, he switched careers and worked as an outside salesman. He worked for Daido Corp., FMC, Inc and Hitachi Corp. As VP of Sales and Operations. In 1990, Lou started his own manufacturer's representative business. In 1996 he became a partner in CT&G Corp where he worked until 2018 when he retired due to illness. In addition to his spouse of 47 years; children: Rachel Volpe (Salvatore) of Staten Island, NY, Keith Coronato (Vera) of East Brunswick, NJ and Jennifer Healey (Gerald) of Otisville, NY; siblings: Marylou Schubert, Nancy Battaglino and William Coronato; 5 grandchildren.
