Marie Niemann

Devoted mother, grandmother, of Westerleigh, 95 Marie Niemann (nee Fodera), 95 of Westerleigh passed away on December 26 at home surrounded by family. Wife of the late Rudolph Niemann, Marie is survived by her children, Carl Niemann, Andreana Niemann and Mary Andreano and her daughter-in-law Laura Niemann; her grandchildren, Andrea Prendamano, Carl and Krystal Niemann; and her brother and sister-in-law, John and Josephine Fodera. Mrs. Niemann worked as a gem-setter in NYC, a manager at "Janie Girl" clothing store, and a manager & driver at Vantasy Bus Company. Marie was happiest when surrounded by family and loved visiting different landmarks with her daughters and surrogate granddaughters Janine, Vanessa, Nicole, and Joie. Her door was always open to visitors for coffee and cake. Marie loved playing cards, telling stories of the old days and Christmas. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, 12/30, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa's Church at 10:45 am.
