Marilyn D. Bossert

Lifelong Staten Islander and kind friend to many Marilyn D. Bossert passed away on August 26, 2022 in her 79th year. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Bruce A. Bossert, loving children Bruce M. and Kerri L. and grandsons Henry and Ethan Bossert. A lifelong Staten Islander, Marilyn attended Tottenville High School and later worked at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. and other companies for several years before leaving to raise her children at home. She was a wonderful and kind friend to those who knew her and enjoyed entertaining at home for the holidays. She attended Calvary Chapel Old Bridge with her friends. Marilyn loved to sail with her family out of Richmond County Yacht Club in Great Kills with her husband who was a member. She also had a special place in her heart for Bermuda having gone there on her honeymoon and visited many times with her family for vacations. Reposing at Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 PM. followed the next day by interment at Moravian Cemetery.
