'Patient, strong-willed, honest, loving and friendly to all she met' Patricia Bisso, beloved mother of three, grandmother of four, passed away on Friday October 22, 2021. Born on October 17, 1948, to Frederick and Victoria Deats, one of four children, Carol Otani (deceased), Victoria Davis, and Fredrick Deats. She grew up as a native Staten islander in St George and graduated from Curtis High School in 1967. In her early years, she was employed by the federal reserve of New York. Patricia was married to Louis A Bisso Jr. on may 15, 1971, and is survived by her husband, three children, Louis, Scott, and Brian, and four grandchildren Gabriel, Andrew, Joseph and Nicholas. Patricia enjoyed traveling, bowling, ceramics, arts and crafting, cooking, gardening, shopping and loved Christmas. She was well known as the sports mom, bringing coolers of iced tea, and snacks to all her children's sporting events. She was patient, strong-willed, honest, loving, and friendly to all she met. She was an avid bingo and slots player and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods and Parx casinos. Services for Patricia Bisso will be held at Hanley Funeral Home, 2 - 4 pm and 7 – 9, on Saturday, October 23, and 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm on Sunday, October 24. A funeral Mass will be held at St Sylvester's Church at 11 am on Monday, October 25, with entombment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.
