Staten Island native; 'a trude hardworking family man' Richard R. Harder, 63, of Manchester passed away at home peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Born in Staten Island, NY he resided in Brick for 33 years before moving to Manchester a year ago. He owned and operated Richmar Plumbing & Heating for 25 years and retired in 2018. A true hardworking family man who always took care of everyone around him. He was an active member of his church at Cornerstone Church in Howell, an incredible runner & loved to golf. He is predeceased by his sister, Judy Nugent and father, Richard Harder. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Mary Ann, son, Michael Terranova & his wife Faith, daughters, Michelle Orlovsky & her husband Rod, and Kimberley Moore & James, sister, Laura Lovgren, mother, Patricia Harder and 7 grandchildren, Mason, Sloan, Talia, Grayson, Zion, Keanu & Jake. Memorial Services are Saturday, January 15th 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church 6550 Rt. 9, Howell, NJ 07731. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Carmelena Cares. I met Rich after the fool's Run in Manasquan a few years back and it had been years since I'd seen him. It was great to catchup again. We'd run into each other after that down here at the Shore and talk running, friends etc. He was a great runner and an even a greater person. He'll be missed. Hank Young
