Robert "Bob" Fallar

Robert (Bob) Fallar, 86, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin NJ. Bob was born and raised on Staten Island, NY. He was the beloved husband of 61 years to Rosemary Fallar. He was the loving father to Robert Fallar and his partner, Salvatore Carosone, Jeanmarie Farkouh and her husband, Stephen, and Eileen Savko and her husband, Andrew. Bob was the adored grandfather of Stephen and Jessica Farkouh, and Andrew, Lily and Harrison Savko. Bob was a graduate of Saint Peter's Boys High School. For 40 years he was an office manager for United States Gypsum. After marriage, Bob and Rosemary lived in Sunnyside for 43 years before retiring to Long Beach Island, NJ. In retirement, he was the facilitator for the "Hawkin Hawkeyes" support group for the blind and visually impaired. Bob enjoyed bowling, boating, gardening, and listening to audio books. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends. He was also an avid animal lover and fond of his 'furry grandchildren'. Bob was also a man of many sayings, including "A clean car is a happy car", "Cash is king", and "My garage, my rules". His advice, wit and wisdom will be greatly missed. A mass will be celebrated on Monday November 1, 2021 at 11:00am at Saint Francis of Assisi church located at 4700 Long Beach Blvd, Brant Beach, NJ.
