Scott Christopher Curran, 50, of Howell, NJ, formerly of Staten Island, NY, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2021. He was born on March 23, 1971 in Bayonne, NJ, son of Thomas and Rosalie Curran. He was one of 4 siblings. Scott enjoyed spending time building model trains and joking with all of his nieces and nephews. He graduated from McKee HS in 1989 and went on to graduate from NYPD Police Academy in 1993. He worked in the Brooklyn Housing Unit before attaining his Detective Shield. He worked Organized Crime and continued into Narcotics. He worked at Ground Zero after the 9/11 terrorist attack and Fresh Kills Landfill during the recovery process. He retired in 2013. He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Rosalie Curran; brother and fiance , Keith Curran and Denise Chinnici; brother and sister-in-law, James and Jennifer Curran; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Victor Romero; nephews, Michael and Victor; and nieces, Chrissy, Stephanie, and Olivia.
