I got to meet Yaky quite a few years ago and I was blessed to have him in my life for 3 years. He was such an amazing man and made sure everyone was happy and loved. He always brightened up the room when he walked in. Even after I stopped seeing him and being involved with the family around him, he still continued to check in on me and wish the best for me on holidays. It breaks my heart to know he´s gone and I truly wish I had more time with him when I had the opportunity to.

There were many times after our conversations had ended and Steve drove down the street, the good bye was never hard knowing we would see one another again. This goodbye today .... infinitely harder. He was the kindest man , always willing to help whenever needed. ,Steve was the best neighbor/friend that any person would have been blessed to have in there lives. My heart is heavy with sadness but realize that God has a different path for him now .So this is the end watch for P.O Steven Yaccarino #507 , you served us, protected us and our lives will never be the same without you in it. Until we meet again my friend

Steve was our next door neighbor and friend. He was a lovely man with a gentle spirit. He would leave tomatoes on our doorstep from his prolific tomato plants. He and my husband shared a passion for cars. They would talk at length whenever their paths crossed. It´s hard to believe we won´t see him anymore. He will be greatly missed.

My Uncle had a heart of gold.
To say he meant the world to me is an understatement. I don´t think I will ever be able to find the words to describe how much I love him and the impact he has had on my life. It´s honestly hard to imagine a life without him in it.

He was the perfect example of what it means to be a truly selfless person, and meant so much to so many people. I will cherish the memories I have with him for the rest of my life.

Cancer knows no boundaries; it doesn´t follow any rules.

To anyone reading this, please use this as a reminder to cherish every moment big or small with friends and family . If my Uncle taught me anything it was to always choose kindness and understanding, even in your hardest moments.

May you Rest In Peace, I will miss you dearly.

My heart is broken. Steve was a great guy who was proud to be a highway patrolman. He always greeted you with a handshake and a smile. I definitely will miss his smile and the way he carried himself. I´m am proud to say I wore the same uniform that he did. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace my brother, till we meet again.
