Theresa Succo

Theresa Succo passed from this world on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the age of 84. Theresa was preceded in death by Anthony J. Succo and is survived by her son Anthony Robert Succo (Judith Succo), her daughter Cheryl Ann Stone (Kenneth A. Smith) and her four grandchildren, Jennifer Mishoe, Courtney Stone, Lisa Ann Succo and Anthony Michael Succo. She was proud to be the great-grandmother of Reagan Hope Mishoe whom she enjoyed seeing via Facetime and talking on the phone. She was a Registered Nurse and took great pride in pursuing that career later in life while she was a Certified Medical Laboratory Technician. She graduated from Saint Vincent's School of Nursing in 1981. She then pursued a career in nursing focusing on private duty nursing. She enjoyed her many years on Staten Island until retiring with her husband to Boca Raton, Florida. While on Staten Island she was always happy volunteering at Academy of St. Dorothy's in Grasmere, her children's elementary school from 1968 through 1980. During this time, she forged lifelong friendships with other parents, along with the Sisters of St. Dorothy. She traveled extensively and on one trip joined the Sisters of St. Dorothy to Malta. Her travels took her to Hawaii, cruises through the Caribbean, and Europe where she genuinely enjoyed Italy. She enjoyed spending time with friends, cooking and visiting family. She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida where she attended for many years. She was a Eucharistic minister and enjoyed being active in Sunday school for children. Theresa will be lovingly remembered.
