MINSTER - Anita J. Bornhorst, age 87, of Minster, Ohio, died on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Heritage Manor, Minster, Ohio.
She was born on February 26, 1938, in Fort Loramie, Ohio to the late Herbert & Ann (Hilgefort) Borchers. She married Kenneth R. Bornhorst on January 18, 1958, in St. Michael Church, Fort Loramie, and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2005. She is survived by children: Kimberly & Roger Prenger, Gilbert, AZ, Kyle & Robert Gusching, Minster, Kendra & Thomas Borges, Minster, Karla & Mark Phlipot, Minster, Kenneth & Robin Bornhorst, Troy, Krista & Brad Eshleman, Minster, grandchildren: Erin & Travis Rippstein, Jason Prenger, Scott & Katie Gusching, Sarah Gusching, Eric & Maria Gusching, Joshua & Hillary Borges, Abby & Joey Earls, Kelsey & Alex Lucky, Jacob & Caitlin Phlipot, Craig Phlipot, Ashley & Joey Breiding, Rachel & Zachary Malcolm, Jessica Bornhorst, Evan & Jodi Eshleman, Macy Eshleman, 22 great grandchildren, sister, Brenda & Frank Nuss, Sidney, in-laws: Thelma Hogenkamp, St. Marys, Lynn Bornhorst, Dayton, Janet & Alan Boerger, Troy, Kathy Bornhorst, Connecticut. She was preceded in death by in-laws: Roger & Theresa Bornhorst, Elton Bornhorst, Melvin Bornhorst, Nick Hogenkamp. Anita was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and was a 1956 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. Anita loved spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Monday, November 10, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage Manor Activity Fund. Condolences may be left at www.hogenkampfh.com.
