ANNA -- Carol Jean Hulsmeyer, age 85 of Anna, Ohio died peacefully at 8:21 PM on January 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on July 18, 1936 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Leo & Matilda (Albers) Watercutter. She married James Hulsmeyer on October 20, 1956 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, McCartyville. He survives in Anna.
She is also survived by daughter & son-in-law: Jennifer & Tony Hall, Columbia, MO, son & daughter-in-law: Jon & Sue Hulsmeyer, Anna, five grandchildren: Derek Hall, Megan & Blake Norman, Zachary & Kendra Hulsmeyer, Jay & Kelsie Hulsmeyer, Seth Hulsmeyer, 2 great grandchildren: Dylan & Elsie, brother: Jerry & Pat Wattercutter, St. Henry, sister: Linda & Chalmer Gasson, Fort Loramie. She was preceded in death by two great grandchildren: Arthur & Leo. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville and the Ladies Sodality of the church. She was a member of the "Happy Go Lucky Grannys" and made the best breakfasts ever. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As per Carol's wishes she was cremated and a Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, McCartyville. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday. Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster has been entrusted with the arrangements.
