Dorothy Swob Obituary
SIDNEY - Dorothy 'Dottie' Bell (Buck) Swob of Sidney passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Troy Rehabilitation and Health Center. She was born on March 23, 1938 in Virginia to Frank and Mary (Prater) Buck.
On March 19, 1971 she married Ronald Swob who survives. She is also survived by children Roger (Dolly) Wilcox, Diane (Joe) Tedder, Brenda (Tom) Thompson and sister, Eula (Bill) Blevins, as well as 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters: Rose Marie, Christine Spencer, Mary Osborne and Euince Adkins.
Dorothy generously donated her body to Boonschoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. Per her wishes, no services are planned. The family thanks Cherish Hospice of Xenia for the excellent care Dorothy received; donations in her honor can be made to Cherish Hospice at: 14 E. Main Street, Suite 275, Springfield OH 45502.
