PIQUA - Jeanine L. Andres, 61, of Piqua, passed away unexpectedly at 9:44 a.m. Sunday June 13, 2021. She was born October 10, 1959 in Piqua to Lois (Snider) Pryfogle of Piqua and the late Clifford Pryfogle. She married Mark A. "Mongo" Andres May 13, 1989 in Piqua; and he preceded her in death September 7, 1992.
Other survivors include a sister, Kristin (Dennis) Scherer of Piqua; a brother, Kevin (Kelly) Pryfogle of Piqua; two nephews, D.J., Ben; and a great nephew, Andrew.
Mrs. Andres was a 1978 graduate of Piqua Central High School. She earned an associates degree in dietary studies from Sinclair Community College. She worked as a dietician for Miami County Corrections then for the Village on the Greene Nursing Facility. She volunteered with the Houston Rescue Squad as an EMT for many years. She enjoyed tending to her garden and spending time outdoors. In her younger years she was active with the Mountain Men and enjoyed primitive camping with her husband. Additionally, she loved to spend her time fishing which she enjoyed very much.
A gathering of family and friends to honor her life will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, Lockington.
