PIQUA - Jon E. Ingle age 79 of Piqua, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Fairhaven in Sidney.
Jon was born in Piqua on October 30, 1945. A graduate of Bradford High School, Class of 1963; retired with 10 years of service with the FAA – Federal Aviation Association as an Aviation Safety Inspector; worked for 34 years at Hartzell Propeller in Piqua; a member of Sidney Eagles Aerie #1403; life member of Willowbrook Hunt Club; life member of Newport Sportsman Club; enjoyed fishing and hunting; coin collecting; loved adding to his antique lure collection; enjoyed watching old westerns; and was involved with Ducks Unlimited.
Preceded in death by his mother, Velma Irene (Mann) Ingle; infant son and daughter; 10-day old son, Jon Ingle; sister, Janet Elleman; and brothers, Jerome Ingle and Jeffrey Ingle. Jon is survived by his wife of 61 years, Tana Marie (Beatley) Ingle; two children, Neil & Nicole Ingle of Piqua and Leah & Bob Elsner of Sidney; three grandchildren, Trenton Burrows, Dexter & Sierra Ingle, and Carter Ingle and fiancée, Korah Hudson; great-granddaughter, Lenora Ingle; two siblings, Jordon Ingle of Bradford and Joyce Monnin of Piqua; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service 5:00 PM Friday, October 24th at Stocker-Fraley Funeral Home, Bradford with Pastor Paul Hickernell officiating. Gathering of Family and Friends 2:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shelby County Ducks Unlimited; venmo, Shelbycounty-DU; mail, 18599 St. Rt. 47, Sidney, OH 45365.
