CONOVER -- Leeman "Bigle" Leroy Brandyberry, age 82, of Conover, OH passed away on July 4, 2022 in OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH. Born on October 13, 1939 in Champaign County, OH, Leeman was the son of the late Franklin Benjamin and Violet Eulalia (Harsh) Brandyberry.
Leeman married Fraya Basye on June 27, 1959 and she survives in Conover. Together they raised five children, three of whom survive, Mark Leroy (Cathy) Brandyberry of Urbana, Franklin Lloyd (Angela) Brandyberry of Russell's Point, and William Lee Brandyberry of Holt, MO. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, one brother, Leslie Brandyberry of Conover, three sisters, Esther Pitts of Urbana, Ruth (Dale) Murphy and Marsha Hicks both of Sidney, a son in law, Rodney Vest of Conover, and many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, two daughters, Beth Impson Hobbs and Anne E. Vest, and siblings Lewis Brandyberry, Herbert "Gene" Brandyberry, Harriett Walton, Janet Brown and Ronald Brandyberry preceded him in death.
He was a member of the United Brothers of Carpenters #372 for 53 years and worked for Franz Brothers Construction in Sidney for 35 years.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rosedale Cemetery.
