SIDNEY -- MARK EDWARD GOLD, 52, of Sidney, passed away at 4:27 A.M. Friday, December 17, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on November 8, 1969 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of Edward (Sue) Gold and JoAnne (Lonnie) Rudasill, both of Sidney.
On October 28, 2017 he married the former Sally Hayden, who survives him along with three daughters, Ashley (Jordan) Powell of Wapakoneta, OH, Rehbeka (Isaiah) Roebuck of Dayton, OH, and Victoria Gold of Troy, OH; three step-children, LaTisha, Roger and Andy; three grandchildren; seventeen step-grandchildren; and one brother, Matthew (Angela) Gold of Sidney. He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Nicole; and his grandparents.
Mark worked for Advanced Composites as a general manager of responsible care. He was a member of Connection Point Church of God. Mark loved listening to music, and enjoyed hiking, biking and anything involving the outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home with Pastor Kylan Booser officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. and on Thursday from 9:15 A.M. until the time of service. Mark's final resting place will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Hospice of Miami County in Mark's memory. Condolences may be expressed to the Gold family at, www.cromesfh.com
