BOTKINS -- R. LouEdna Fullenkamp, 89, of rural Botkins, died Mon. Dec. 19, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System, with her family at her side. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Darke Co., OH, the daughter of the late Lewis & Edna (McEldowney) Baltes. On June 26, 1954, she married Floyd J. Fullenkamp, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2002.
Survivors include, 6 children, Mike (Lisa) Fullenkamp, Botkins, Steve Fullenkamp, Anna, Bob (Jane) Fullenkamp, Botkins, Kathy (Mike) Leugers, Botkins, Diane (Randy) Wright, St. Marys, Maryann (Jerry) Wells, Anna; grandchildren, Patrick Fullenkamp, Alisson (Greg) Kreitzer, Evelyn (Ryan) Zimpfer, Brandon Fullenkamp, Lucas Fullenkamp, Morgan (Nick) Searfoss, Brock (Taylor) Fullenkamp, Christie (Kevin) Mann, Megan (Logan) Rex, Eric (Diane) Leugers, Matthew Leugers, Ryan (Abby) Leugers, Nicole (Josh) Brown, Tyler Wright, Dylan (Kenzie) Wells, Kenzie (Adam) Vanderhorst, Lexi Wells; 28 great grandchildren and 3 on the way; siblings, Joseph (Linda-dec) Baltes, NY, Marlene (LaVern-dec) Bettinger, Coldwater, OH, Helen Lovell, CA, Carolyn (James-dec) Phelan, Versailles, OH, Deb (Paul) Eaton, NV; numerous nieces & nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother & spouse, Gene (Betty) Baltes, and a sister & spouse, Rose Mary (Tom) Raterman.
Lou was a homemaker and a 1951 graduate of Versailles High School. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Rhine, and the Ladies Sodality of the church. She was a member of the Red Hats, and the Frenchtown Girls. Lou's hobbies included reading, but most especially she enjoyed spending time with her family, and was their number 1 cheerleader.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tues. Dec. 27, 2022, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins, with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Rhine. The family will receive friends 3-7 p.m., Mon. Dec. 26, 2022, and from 9-10 a.m., Tues. at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Botkins Friends of the Library or St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
