Ronson Robinson

SIDNEY - Ronson David Robinson passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, at age 89. He was born in Sidney, OH, as the fourth child of Lucille (neé Baesel) and Granville Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Donna J. Robinson (neé Carey); son Shaughnessy, daughter Shenandoah, daughter-in-law Colleen Holloran, son-in-law Alan Cohen, and 12 nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by sisters Arlyn Hettinger, Elizabeth Vogelsang and Jane Graham.

Ron graduated from Sidney High School and Kent State University and worked as a bank teller, a natural gas salesman and an electric line maintenance manager for DP&L. Ron was a gifted wood worker hand-building furniture and later, traditional Shaker boxes using period correct methods and materials. His mechanical aptitude was reflected in his extensive home restoration and building skills. He enjoyed reading historical narratives, visiting historic sites and listening to music.

A memorial service will be held Dec. 13th, 2025, at First Community Village, Columbus, OH. Donations may be made toward Alzheimer's Disease research.
