Jason Viger Obituary
April 4, 1981 - August 1, 2024
Born in San Fernando Valley and lived his entire life in Santa Clarita.
He attended Poverello of Assisi preschool, Our Lady of Perpetual Help through the 8th grade where he was an altar server for 4 years and Learning Post High School. At 17 years old, Jason enlisted in the United States Navy and fulfilled his goal of search and rescue diver. Upon his return to Santa Clarita, Jason married his grade school sweetheart Nicole Blackstock and welcomed 4 beautiful children - Kaelyn, Jacob, Madison and Emily.
In 2008 Jason joined the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. During his career he worked in a variety of different capacities, ultimately fulfilling his dream of becoming a Homicide Investigator.
Jason is survived by his parents Jim and Cheryl Viger, brothers Corey and Jeremy, his four children - Kaelyn, Jacob, Madison and Emily, as well as his family of brothers and sisters with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Jason will be joined in heaven by his grandparents and Uncle Bill.
Services will be held on August 26, 2024 at Grace Baptist Church, 22833 Copper Hill Dr, Santa Clarita, CA 91350.
Rest in peace our Son. We love you and will miss you!!

Jason was an example of what a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff should be. I had the honor of working along side him in many capacities and will always cherish our friendship. Until we meet again my friend.....
