John Thomas Obituary
John earned his Engineering degree from University of Michigan. He and his new bride drove to California to work for Lockheed. Later, he became a Certified Life Insurance Underwriter for Equitable.
John delighted in building model gliders and was a member of the Canyon Crosswinds Airplane Club. He also enjoyed sailing. John was a board member of the Sunair Asthma Home.
John shared 62 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Valerie. Together they raised three children – Michele, Kyle, and Stephanie. He was also grandpa to 6 wonderful grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8 from 11 to 2 at the Thomas Home. The family would appreciate any donations made to Doctors Without Borders or SPCA.

Our sincere condolences to your family. We had known John as our insurance broker for many years and considered him a very good friend. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. He was a great gentleman and will be greatly missed.
