Just learned of Ken's passing. Ken and I were close friends in high school, and I was so proud when he got his appointment to the Air Force Academy. I last saw him in about 1980, when he was stationed in Mildenhall, England and I was stationed in Berlin. I was able to visit him for a weekend, and we shared a pint or two at a pub that I recall was named the Fox & Hound. Since then, we lost track of each other. Sorry I never got to meet you, Katie.

Loyal and genuine...there was never any B.S with Ken. He was straight-up and told IT, the way IT was; for which he was greatly respected. Of all things, I believe his integrity will be most sorely missed. Fantastic sense of humor and a sharp wit made him enjoyable company; a gentleman's gentlemen.

"My Dear friend Ken,

You will forever be the best Chief Pilot I ever worked and flew with.

Respected and a life long friend to me.

Ken, enjoy your new wings and watch over all of us from RTA.

We will all fly together again one day.

I will miss you my Friend."
