Gary Lee Kroll, 84, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021.
Service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Gary was born on August 9, 1936, to Ben and Helen (Eggen) Kroll in Hinton. He grew up in Hinton, moving to Sioux City after he married Sue Jebsen on Jan. 20, 1955, in Sioux City.
He worked for over 30 years at Kay Dee Feeds, then moving on to work for the Sioux City School District until his retirement. Gary was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church with his wife Sue. In his spare time, Gary loved fishing, gardening, and tinkering in his workshop. He also enjoyed to watch wildlife.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Kroll; three daughters, Connie DeRocher (Richard), Linda Williams (Tye), and Brenda Iwen; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Roma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rhonda Kramer; brother, Dennis; and sister, Cindy.
Memorial donations may be directed to Gary's family for future designation.

I knew Gary from country school and then in Hinton Public School always in the same grade. Remember Sue as well. Prayers are lifted up for all of Gary's family.

So so sorry to hear about Gary´s passing. My husband and the Kroll kid grew up together. Most of them are already gone. God bless you all. Just give each other a hug and you will have the hugs you all need. Here is to old times!!! Wanda Ingalls
