Mac was one of the finest people I ever met. I was very fortunate to have him as a teacher and friend. Mac had a way of teaching and communicating that was so real, genuine, informative and fun. He made going to school fun. He had wonderful wisecracks. Excellent carpenter, mechanic, teacher and Man. Thank you Mac for all you gave and taught.

So sorry to hear your loss.
I was a woodworking student of James back in 73-74 and still have great memories of his expertise in the carpentry field. Loved his humor and ability to control a classroom of tough young guys, many of which had little experience or interest in the carpentry field. Sad to hear of his passing but memories of him last forever!
