Marlene Nelson Obituary
October 4, 1938 - January 19, 2026
Marlene Nelson (Rodeen), age 87, of North Mankato, Minn., passed away peacefully on January 19th. Marlene was born on October 4, 1938, in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from East High School in Sioux City and the University of Iowa. She was a teacher, business owner, mother and grandmother. Marlene is survived by her daughter, Nicole Nelson; her grandchildren, Liam and Cozette; her sister, Jackie and brother-law, Dick; her sister-in-law, Orie; nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Brent; her parents; her brother, Bob; and so many other loved ones. A celebration of life will be held in late Spring in Mankato, Minn.
